More debate on parking meters needed

To the Editor,

Like anyone, I appreciate convenience and familiarity. So putting a coin in a meter right in front of my car, as I’m used to doing, would be my preference. However, when I’m balancing that with the saving of $2 million for our village through the use of multi-space meters, I must pause. What could that $2 million provide? How much does that familiar meter really mean to me? I look forward to a more balanced and rational debating of the parking issues.
